The Shiny Balls Mirror is means to create a digital picture through analog display. Aside from its too cool for school appearance, the spec sheet behind the image is just as impressive. 819 motors drive 921 chrome-plated plastic balls and an additional 921 black-anodized aluminum tubes to create the “reflection” from the feed of a digital camera.
Daniel Rozin is the mind behind the mirror, an artist who explores the connection of digital and corporeal worlds. We would add something like “he’s really good with his balls,” but we vastly prefer direct phallic allusion for our punning. So we’ll just say he makes a mean mirror that explores the nature of human existence.
