Adding even more tension to the tug-of-war match between Netflix and content providers, Showtime original series which are still in production—like Dexter and Californication—will disappear from the service this summer.
However, the LA Times says shows that have been cancelled, such as The Tudors, will still be available. Looks like Showtime now views Netflix as the competition after the movie rental and streaming service acquired the rights to their first original show, House of Cards. Game on.
