Siemens BenQ Cranks Out Three 3G Phones

Further destroying the myth that Siemens is dead, BenQ recently launched three new UMTS/3G cameras, the SG75, the SFG75, and the SXG75. The SG75 is a slider that features a 1.3 megapixel camera, a 2-inch display with 262k colors. Next is the SXG75, which has two color displays (an internal one of 2.2 inches), a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, an MP3 player, and a miniSD slot for extra storage. Then there’s the SXG75, which is being touted as a “mobile powerhouse,” what with features like a 2-megapixel camera, mobile GPS unit, RDS radio, MP3 player, video recorder, and 2.2-inch color screen. Both the SG75 and the SFG75 will be out in November whereas the SXG75 will be out in October.
