Looks like Simon Pegg has crossed one more genre staple off his movie bucket list: zombies, aliens, Star Trek, Doctor Who, and now Monty Python.

Screen Daily is reporting that Pegg has signed on to star in the new movie Absolutely Anything. The film will also star Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin, Terry Jones and John Cleese.

Pegg will play Neil Clarke, who is “a disillusioned school teacher who suddenly finds he has magical powers, bestowed upon him by aliens.” And the Monty Python crew will voice the aliens! Reports say that the movie is both live action and CG. Oh and Robin Williams is going to voice Pegg’s dog. Which could be brilliant or terrible.
