Today is a breezy, beautiful fall day in New York City. But if you ask Siri about the weather here, she’ll tell you it’s 90 degrees. This is not the weather in New York City, but rather the weather in New York, Texas. Something’s up with Siri again.
We’ve known for some time that Siri doesn’t always serve up the best answers. In fact, she consistently returns crappier answers than Google. We had high hopes for better Siri search results in iOS 6, but it seems that along with all sorts of iOS 6 Maps fail, she’s forecasting incorrect or confused weather for many towns and cities across the United States. We can’t say for sure the two problems are related, but something’s definitely amiss. [MacRumors]
