Sleepy Hollow has been … not good this season, and after the latest episode, we’re not all that confident that it’s headed in any direction resembling ‘good’.

Last night’s episode, Ragnarok, did do something surprising: it killed off one of the two lead characters, Abbie Mills, played by Nicole Beharie. The Abbie Mills / Ichabod Crane relationship has been one of the cornerstones of the show, and honestly, even though that relationship had significant problems over the last season, it was still something we tuned in for. Without Mills there to complement Crane, we can’t see the show improving at all.
