Smallville’s creators and executive producers, Al Gough and Miles Millar, have joined stars Michael Rosenbaum and Kristen Kreuk in bailing out of the show’s eighth season. This raises the chances that the next (final?) season of The CW’s top-rated scripted series will be a Bizarro World reflection of its earlier self. In other news, Heroes season three will start with a one-hour special, followed by a two-hour premier episode… but the prequel spin-off, Heroes: Origins, is officially dead.
