The Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan? You know the one—it cost $6.7 million to build. Yesterday, a snowblower smashed one of its 15 seamless glass panels, which created this beautiful cracked vignette of New York City. It looks like a painting.

Plenty of pictures of the smashed panel have been posted to Instagram and Twitter, and they're all pretty awesome. The one above in particular almost looks like a work of art rather than a smashed storefront. In spite of the damage, the store will stay open, but the the facade is apparently going to cost Apple around $450,000 to repair. Which would be more painful if they weren't selling so many dadgum iPhones.
