I dont need power or batteries to read a book or mag. My hardcover copy of "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" wont die half way to Vancouver when I realize I forgot to bring the charger. The crossword puzzle will still be there even after my friend spills his double latte nonfat smoothie on it, maybe a bit stickier but the point is technology is fragile. Most traditional media is robust and durable, making it the superior choice for entertainment on the road. Those DVD's people keep in the car for the kids, they are disgusting, that DVD player is not going to be able to read the disc through all that dried chocolate milk.
