Sonos' Play:3 All-in-One Speaker Is Their Cheapest Box of Awesome Yet

At $300, the Play:3 all-in-one speaker is the cheapest box Sonos has put out—something to be happy about.

One of its killer features is an orientation sensor that determines whether the box is horizontal or upright. When it's horizontal, it provides a stereo spread, but turn it vertically, and it switches to a focused mono beam (it'll pair up with another Play:3 to produce stereo together, one channel busting out of each speaker). Like other Sonos rigs, you can expand your system painlessly by just adding another box and syncing it up to your router. [Sonos]
