Sony Ericsson unveiled two candybar style cell phones at the 3GSM conference in Barcelona earlier today. The K610i and the J100 represent entries into the high end and low end of the 3G market, respectively. The K610i is an update to the K600, adding an updated feature set and bringing it into line with the 2G K750. It now has a 2 megapixel autofocus camera (with flash) as well as a second video-capable VGA camera. Perhaps even more interesting, especially for a candybar, is its included browser, which has an RSS reader in addition to a media player. Other features include Bluetooth, and a Memory Stick Micro slot. Meanwhile, the J100, aimed at developing markets, is fairly simple in comparison, with SMS being its biggest feature. Both are due out in Europe and Asia the second quarter.
