Car kits are a tricky thing. Nobody wants something in their car that looks like a hunk of electronics and nobody wants wires and cigarette lighter dongles webbing up the seats. Luckily, many manufactures, including Nokia and Motorola, have made some nice progress in creating good-looking car kits that won’t look like a hunk of garbage.

Case in point: the HCB-100 by Sony Ericsson. This car kit fits to your visor and features 20 hours of talk time and 600 hours standby. A DSP reduces echo and it works with just about any Bluetooth-compatible speakerphone. The LEDs change color as each phone rings, meaning you can add two or more phones to the mix without the entire system seizing up. Available next quarter.
