It looks like the Sony Ericsson T608, which was to have been the first Sprint cellphone with Bluetooth, is back from the dead. The phone had been pretty much killed when Sony Ericsson decided to quit making CDMA handsets for the North American market, but now SprintUsers.com reports that the T608 should be out soon. Can’t remember where we saw this, but we’d read somewhere that Sprint actually didn’t want to carry a phone that had Bluetooth because they were concerned about people using them with laptops as wireless modems and taxing their high-speed CDMA 1xRTT network.
