Sony announces a new line of Walkman audio players, and it don’t stop: Two new wireless headphones in the MDR series showed up as well. The MDR DS6000 and MDR RF5000K. They use the 2.4ghz band, like everything else in this tech world, which will net you about 30 meters of separation distance from the receiver. The 6000 packs the big punch with virtual 5.1 surround and DTS, Dolby NR Pro Logic II. The 5000 is the same thing, sans DTS. I’m always suspicious of the sound quality in wireless cans, but these look massive enough to provide good quality ear-sweating.
