Sure, it's not the real thing from the show, but hey, when it comes to getting the fancy-ass crown of several Westerosi kings, take what you can get - like this still pretty fancy replica coming from Factory Entertainment.

Factory will be revealing the crown - described as a 'museum replica' which usually just means 'super fancy and very expensive' - that formerly anointed both the bonces of Robert and Joffrey in Game of Thrones at Toy fair, the first such 'luxury' product in the range of merchandise for the series. That stand made out of the hilts of four swords is pretty badass, but I'm not entirely sure why someone would be so willing to spend a lot of cash on something that's arguably most associated with Joffrey at this point. Unless you wanted to remind people of Joffrey, the hateful little shite that he was, for some reason. You do you and all that.

But get this - the press release revealing Factory's shiny Baratheon crown held a much more interesting nugget regarding their upcoming Game of Thrones merchandise:

Best known for his international bestselling epic fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire, which includes A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons, George R.R. Martin is considered to be by Time Magazine, one of the most influential people in the world. Factory Entertainment will debut its first product at Toy Fair — a collectible plush of George, dressed in his trademark fisherman's cap and suspenders. Featuring 10 exclusively recorded audio quotes; Mr. Martin truly speaks for himself!

UMM EXCUSE ME FACTORY ENTERTAINMENT PR PEOPLE HOW DO YOU NOT LEAD WITH THIS INSTEAD OF YOUR FANCY CROWN NONSENSE. I will buy a plush talking George R. R. Martin at the drop of a (fisherman's) hat. That's amazing.

Calling it now, even without pictures of it. Plush GRRM is the toy of 2015.
