So Spotify’s invited music-hungry Americans to the service after months, nay years, of teasing. But when is it actually going to launch? According to All Things D, Spotify reps have told record labels it’ll be next week…though I wouldn’t hold your breath.

This is Spotify and its US launch we’re talking about, and their track record with launch estimates isn’t so hot. Nonetheless, they’ve signed up three of the big record labels (plus indies), and while Warner Music Group hasn’t put its name on the dotted line, it’s highly possible they could sign up before the launch—in the next week?
