One of BGR's sources reports that the Galaxy Tab will launch on Sprint on November 14th for $400 on-contract and $600 full price.
There's no word yet on other carriers—the Tab will also be offered through T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T—but it'd be surprising if pricing and availability differed dramatically among the four.

If it holds up, that price comes as welcome news to US customers, who have rightly been rattled to see the Galaxy Tab listed at over $1000 in both Germany and the UK. [BGR]
