If you’ve been missing anime with espionage, romance, and hijinks, you’re in luck. Spy x Family is coming back with another season.
Wit Studio and Cloverworks‘ series, based on Tetsuya Endo’s manga of the same name, has been MIA since season three wrapped last December. You can see the key visual for the next season down below, which features the Forger family walking through town, as they often do. Flying around them are newspapers with scenes that tease at what they’ll get up to this season. Several of the more legible ones seem to focus on Anya, so anime-only and manga reading fans can have fun picking them out.
Along with that, Toho announced a second Spy x Family movie is in development. The series made its cinematic debut with 2023’s Code: White, and like many a shonen anime, you don’t really stop with just one film. More details will come in the near future, but the press release teased it’ll “bring audiences another big-screen adventure filled with espionage, danger, and heartfelt moments.”
You can look forward to Spy x Family season four and the next movie hitting theaters in 2027. (At time of writing, that window only applies to the movie’s Japanese version, so everyone else may have to wait a while longer.) But the Forgers are coming back to your screens in a few months, so that’s something.
