Steve Jobs Says This Will Be Your Greatest Life Revelation

Pay close attention to this video, people. Not because it's Steve Jobs, but because it's some of the best advice you will ever get: Steve Jobs giving you his vision of life and how you can make a difference.

When you grow up you tend to get told the world is the way it is and you're life is just to live your life inside the world. Try not to bash into the walls too much. Try to have a nice family, have fun, save a little money.

That's a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact: Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use.

Once you learn that, you'll never be the same again.

The man certainly followed his own words. [Thanks Nick!]

Well, ok, but Steve Jobs was extraordinarily smart. So of course HIS worldview would require that he believe that everything around him was created by people no smarter than he was. That's like Albert Pujols telling you that the secret to baseball is discovering that the pitcher is not a better athlete than you are. Ok, it makes sense that he would think that. It does NOT make sense that I should think that way. There are plenty of people out there who in fact are NOT smarter than the people who have "made up" the world around them. If everyone went around acting like Steve Jobs, the world would be an vastly, vastly more insufferable place.
