“Supertide” Creates Dramatic Temporary Island Off The Coast Of France

A rare “supertide” (caused by last night’s post-eclipse supermoon) briefly turned France’s Mont Saint-Michel into a completely encircled island. The historic site is located just off the coast of Normandy, and is usually linked to land via a bridge.
