Push it Films’ ultra low-budget cover of J.J. Abrams Star Trek hides their non-existent production values with lens flare and tin foil. It’s amazing what you can do when you blind your audience.

For me, the incessant chanting really pushes this over the top. FYI, the term “sweding” comes from Michel Gondry’s 2008 film Be Kind Rewind, in which Mos Def and Jack Black create homemade versions of blockbusters using nothing but imagination and camera legerdemain. Check out how Push It filmed the space scenes – the shoot involved a lot of hair dryer.
