Good news for the inhabitants of Haven, the town at the center of the upcoming Syfy fantasy series based on a novella by Stephen King: A former doctor will be taking a lead role in the community.
er’s Emily Rose will be playing FBI Agent Audrey Parker in the series, adapted from King’s The Colorado Kid, it was announced yesterday. Rose’s Parker will be the Carter-esque lead in the new supernatural Eureka, initially arriving in the titular town to investigate a murder before becoming more involved with the town as she discovers that everyone there has some kind of supernatural power.
The series will start filming in the spring for a debut later this year.
