The use of sex appeal in gadget ads needn’t be crass, as photographer extraordinaire Caesar Lima proves in this candy-colored ode to the pink iPod. Lima’s bio, by the way, states that he’s a pioneering user of “computer controlled robot lights,” a factoid that earns him instant Gizmodo cred.
Sad to say this is my farewell post, after a week of guest-blogging. (For the record, in Gizmodo’s pre-byline era, all the items you liked were mine.) Gizmodo’s fearless editor, Joel Johnson, will be rocking it solo tomorrow, before a very special guest takes the helm on Monday. Thanks a million for your patronage, and please check out my non-blog work in Wired, Slate, and the Village Voice if the spirit moves you. Sayonara.
Update: I just wanted to add what a pleasure it was to work with Brendan in this inaugural week of mine. He’s a very talented writer and a great guy to have around if you want to feel like a rank amateur. Check out the rest of his work. — Joel
