In case you missed it, Comcast and Time Warner Cable have officially confirmed their intentions to be come one gigantic conglomerate of suck. The internet, understandably, found this upsetting! Here are the funniest, angriest tweets about your new favorite monopoly:
Hahaha. I get it TWC and Compact have terrible service! Hahah. Hilariaous.
I wonder how many of these people actually contacted service/support. Both companies have been rated highly for their service my independent organizations. Both have excellent web portals for service. And neither of them do large service appointment windows anymore. But I guess the "we'll be there from 9 am to 5 pm" window joke is still funny for the comically inept.
Personally, I have had TWC go above an beyond, sending people out same or next day when my connection goes down. Also, getting streaming TV and ondemand for free on my tablet and phone, when I don't subscribe to cable (just internet) is pretty cool. Prices are in line with the other providers as well. I torrent crazy amounts of data and no complaints.
Comcast throttles torrents and video streaming. Comcast sends out letters of people download questionable content and will terminate accounts if people use too much. I kind of wish it were the other way around: TWC acquiring comcast.
