When a teenage girl (Hailee Steinfeld) gets tired of being trained non-stop as an assassin, she decides to hide out at a high school and pretend to be a normal kid. Hilarity, pretty much, ensues. Since we might never get a third movie about Hit-Girl’s adventures in adolescence, this could be a good replacement for Kick-Ass 3.
The supporting cast of this one looks pretty terrific — Samuel L. Jackson, fresh off Kingsman: The Secret Service, is co-starring in another teen spy/assassin movie. And Jessica Alba is back! Plus Sophie Turner from Game of Thrones! And it’s directed by Kyle (Fanboys) Newman. There’s no release date yet, but we’ll keep you posted!
