Really loving this fantastic three-minute intro to the early days of the Universe, narrated by CERN physicist Tom Whyntie.

The video comes via the good folks at TEDEd, who pair world-class educators with talented animators to communicate fascinating subjects (like cosmology) in fun and engaging ways. In this lesson, the animation team at Hornet Inc. helps Whyntie explain the origins of the Universe and the early days of its study. It’s a fantastic little three-minute primer – the beginning of the Universe, for beginners.
