Mark Kyrnin of CompReviews.About.com has updated his list of the best desktop PCs for under $500, with Dell’s Dimension 2400 (pictured at right) taking top honors. As you’d expect, it’s a no-frills unit (CD-RW drive instead of a DVD drive, just 256MB of RAM), but it does have a decently sized 80GB hard drive.
