Okay, we’re kidding a bit—this new picture from the set of Riverdale probably isn’t teasing a crisis on infininte CW earths the network’s DC comics shows have gotten so fond of. But let’s be real, like we’d say no to the idea of Supergirl landing in Riverdale for a team up with Betty and Veronica.
Riverdale writer and showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa posted this cute shot of Melissa Benoist hanging out, in costume, on the set of the show’s second season, alongside Lili Reinhart and Camila Mendes.
If it is filming something, it’s probably an advert for the CW’s stable of shows at large. But still, it’s fun to imagine what sort of mania could be wreaked by Kara Danvers’ sudden arrival in Riverdale. That creepy new masked gunman that’s terrorising poor Archie and pals probably wouldn’t last too long with the girl of steel around, that’s for sure!
