There are tons of boxes out there that let you stream the audio and video files stored on a PC over a home network and play them on your TV or stereo, but perilously few that are compatible with Macs. Well, Mac owners have at least another option, a new wireless digital media adapter from El Gato Systems called the EyeHome that supports playback of MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and DivX video and MP3 and unencrypted AAC audio files, but won’t work with QuickTime or with songs purchased via the iTunes Music Store.
