It looks like Mattel has decided to test the dedication of die-hard Hot Wheels collectors and completionists. The line’s first Minecraft-themed vehicle, the Minecart, is a perfect recreation of the one appearing in the game. So in other words, it’s nothing more than a box on wheels.
Yep, boxy.
But before Hot Wheels fans get too livid, it’s important to note that the new Minecart will be compatible with Mattel’s Minecraft Mini collectible figurines, allowing them to ride along on standard Hot Wheels tracks and other playsets. So it’s not completely ludicrous, just a little.
