Article in the Bangkok Post about Taiwanese manufacturer BenQ, which spun off from Acer a few years back and is rapidly becoming a brand name to watch when it comes to high-end consumer electronics, and some of the products they’re working on that we’ll be keeping an eye out for, like a hard drive-based audio/video player designed to compete with the iPod, a Tablet PC, a line of LCD televisions, and some sort of wireless digital media adapter.

PS – The best part, and probably the real reason why we blogged this, is that the name “BenQ” is revealed to be an acronym for “Bringing enjoyment ‘n Quality” to life. Seriously.
