The Hobbit takes us inside the home of Beorn, and it's wonderful!

Sneak a little look inside the gigantic house of Beorn the skin changer, including the gigantic living room Peter Jackson built for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

We've still yet to see actual footage of Mikael Persbrandt as Beorn. But we have seen glorious paintings of his mutton-chops along with some footage of him in bear form (don't click on the link unless you want to be spoiled). However today, you're going to see the inside of his house. Which is nothing short of spectacular, and everything we love about a Peter Jackson fantasy film, the details! The crew has just released a new behind-the-scenes video that is all about Beorn's abode.

Other than that, beautiful set design. Weta Workshop does such an amazing job at creating the practical environments for film. The attention to detail is quite striking in the woodwork, wholly believable as coming from the pages of Tolkien.
