We really enjoyed the trailer for The Lazarus Effect. It’s got a handful of our favorite actors messing around with mad science and things they shouldn’t be, conjuring up all sorts of problems. Watch.
This was the first we’d heard of this horror movie until the trailer dropped, but so far so good. It feels simple yet horrific. There’s a very Flatliners quality about it, and that’s a good thing. The premise is simple: “A group of medical students discover a way to bring dead patients back to life.” And the cast — Olivia Wilde, Evan Peters, Donald Glover and Mark Duplass — are all fantastic. We’ll be watching this one.
The Lazarus Effect hits theaters on Feb. 27th.
