The Librarians comes back this Sunday, and I am looking forward to it so much. It’s a show that is committed to having fun and is a wonderful chaser to darker dramas. I’m going to watch it after Westworld so I can actually get to sleep, is what I’m saying.

In this clip from the premiere, the crew is in Massachusetts where they find an artifact related to Apep, the god of chaos. And while the adventure is the engine of The Librarians, the chemistry of the team is the fuel. Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing Jake (Christian Kane) derail a lecture from Flynn (Noah Wyle) with some well-timed destruction.

I will admit it’s because I still, no matter how hard this show tries to change my mind, find Flynn to be the worst. Jake’s great, though.
