The brilliant but gone-too-soon Middleman series will return yet again.
Series creator Javier Grillo-Marxuach announced the triumphant return on his Tumblr,explaining that Middleman would return as a graphic novel that links the comic book to the TV series:
it will be a brand spankin’ new graphic novel bringing together the comic book and tv continuities.
crowdfunding will take place in the fourth quarter of 2013.
the original series cast has agreed to reunite for a live reading of the script to serve as a crowdfunding premium.
les mcclaine will return to draw the graphic novel.
the project will be released in time for sdcc 2014.
Our stance is a firm: Any new Middleman material is good. And the original cast reading the script, that’s just icing on the monster cake. It’s one week until Comic-Con 2013 and already we can’t wait for Comic-Con 2014!
