DISCUSSION
So if a filmmaker does something like this often enough, does it go from being an homage to your influences to lazily stealing cinematic techniques/postures/etc (i.e. down to a frame-by-frame copy but with a new wrapper) at some point? I don’t know the answer, but I keep seeing compilations like this and it seems like a valid question to discuss.
