Apple's boosted its petite iPod offering, with a new scrolling touch UI (no more grid!), built-in sensors for cardio stats tracking, and—wait for it—an assortment of virtual watch faces. Oh, and it plays music. Available today.
The new Nano will come with 16 swappable watch faces, and will sell in seven colors (silver, graphite, blue, green, orange, pink and (PRODUCT) RED)—$130 for 8 GB, $150 for 16 GB. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there's any GPS built into this thing yet—that would've made it killer for athletes.

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea." - Douglas Adams
