Among the many charming conceits of Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur is the movie’s single human character–who is, basically, a dog. And if that wasn’t obvious before, the new trailer makes it crystal clear.
There’s growling, panting, and howling. And then there’s his name: “Spot.” We also see a lot of Arlo, the apatosaurus trying to find his family, learning about courage in the process–with help from a T-Rex that is suspiciously cowboyesque.
Also, since it’s a Pixar film, the movie looks beautiful. Watch the new trailer below.
