Movies about demons, possessions, and exorcisms have always been very common. That’s because they’re such terrifying, malleable ideas with huge implications. A new show with those themes, Outcast, is coming in June—and the latest trailer will freak you out.
Outcast is based on the comics by Robert Kirkman, who most people know as the man behind The Walking Dead. Here, he takes those common demon themes and gives it a new spin by creating an anti-hero (Almost Famous’ Patrick Fugit) who has the ability to combat them.
