Hooray! Titan Comics are adding another Doctor to their ever-expanding roster of ongoing Doctor Who comic books. After a pretty smashing miniseries, the Ninth Doctor is back for good with a whole host of new comic adventures in time and space.

The five-part miniseries from Cavan Scott and Blair Shedd came to a close just last week, but now the Ninth Doctor will join the 10th, 11th, and 12th Doctors as an ongoing monthly series from April of next year. According to a brief statement sent by Titan this morning, Cavan Scott will return to pen the series, and the opening three-part story will feature art from Adriana Melo.
Titan’s Doctor Who comics have been going from strength to strength lately, so it’s good to see that they’re not done with everyone’s favorite Northern Time Lord. Hopefully the positive news means we could get an Eighth Doctor ongoing book after his own miniseries ends, too.
