The story follows “a brilliant but socially invisible computer prodigy who finds purpose and belonging when he is drawn into C.L.A.Y. (Clowns Laughing At You), an underground hacker collective whose daring exploits turn digital provocation into real-world consequences. As the group’s notoriety grows, their actions attract the attention of intelligence agencies, criminal syndicates, and rival hackers.”

Scheduled for release sometime next year, the synopsis reads: “When Ringmaster Rollo and his mysterious clown troupe arrive in Redhaven, Frankie discovers their visit may be connected to a child who vanished years ago. Convinced they’ve now set their sights on her little brother, Frankie must convince her friends to help uncover the truth and stop the clowns before her brother disappears with them for good.”

Bleed the Night
Deadline reports Fox Entertainment Studios has acquired Bleed the Night, a vampire spec script from Keith Cooper and Zoe Cooper, “based on a story by Keith Cooper and Justin Dyck.” The story concerns “a lonely teenager” who answers “a mysterious ad reading ‘MUST LOVE BLOOD.’ She then meets a charismatic young vampire who offers her the friendship and freedom she’s always craved — turning one summer night in 1994 into a bloody crime spree that tests just how far she’ll go for her first real friend.” Currently, no director is attached.
Every House is Haunted
Deadline also reports Corin Hardy is no longer attached to direct Every House is Haunted, the film adaptation of the Ian Rogers short story The House on Ashley Avenue, which has since moved from Netflix to 20th Century Fox. Don’t Move directors Adam Schindler and Brian Netto have taken over the project, and will reportedly “do their own pass on the script by Jason Pagan and Andrew Deutschman.” The story follows “an insurance investigator who tries to debunk claims that a couple’s death was caused by a haunted house, only for his doubts to be challenged by a psychic and the mysterious occurrences he witnesses with his own eyes.”
