Going head-to-head with the OQO is another tiny handheld computer that runs Windows XP instead of the Pocket PC OS: the TIQIT eightythree. It should be out in the last quarter of this year, and has a 4″ LCD screen, a 300 MHz processor, 256 MB of RAM, and a 20 GB hard drive. Unlike the OQO, it has a built-in mini-keyboard, but where’s the built-in wireless capability? And why do all of these “ultra-personal” computers have to have the letter Q in the middle of their names?
