The Virgin Radio Fake Film Festival invites contestants to remake their favorite film in the span of a single minute. It’s attracted 60-second remakes of everything from Psycho to Bruce Almighty, but this rendition of the first Evil Dead film is perfectly manic with some truly excellent special effects.
Gigi Saul Guerrero and Luke Bramley directed the short, but props must be given to the special effects makeup artist Carolyn Williams. If you’re a fan of what this team has put together, you can vote for them at the Virgin Fake Film Festival.
