In Game of Thrones’ sixth season, things in King’s Landing went horrifically sideways for Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg). But in this deleted scene from the season’s second episode, “Home,” we get a glimpse of her berating her son (the erstwhile Master of Coin, Mace Tyrell), and hear more about the plans she has to free her grandchildren, Margaery and Loras, from the clutches of the High Sparrow.
Of course, we all know how it worked out at the end of the season for the younger Tyrells—but we sure can’t wait to see the Queen of Thorns throw her weight and cunning behind Daenerys Targaryen and company in season seven. Meanwhile, you can re-live season six (and watch more deleted scenes and cool extras) when the DVD and Blu-ray are out November 15.
