This video sends me a strong message in favor of Digital Hard Drives. As impressive as the technology of an analog hard drive is, and it is amazing, I shudder to think how the digital wonder that is a computer depends on such a complex mechanical device. A big magnet is the engine! I had an expensive watch ruined by the HD in my laptop. Couldn't figure out what happened until a metal pen was sucked against my laptop from about 4 inches away. Really powerful magnet! I'd love to see a video by the same guy about SDD engineering.
