There’s going to be snow and caroling and mind-meld shared consciouness next week when the Wachowskis’ Netflix series Sense8 comes back for a two-hour holiday special.

The teaser shows off cast members from the first season with all sorts of canoodling and then… punching! A companion video from Lana Wachowski explains that she loved Christmas specials as a kid as a place where her life and those of fictional characters seemingly intersected.
That kind of thinking makes sense coming from the co-creator of Sense8 and The Matrix, two entertainments where reality and fiction bleed into each other.
The Sense8 Christmas Special debuts on December 23.
