It could be the best 80s-style comedy you’ve seen in years. The Acer 3935 and 8935G are about as biologically related as Danny DeVito and the Governator.
The Aspire 3935 (above) is a 13.3-inch (16:9, 1366×768), 4.1-lb lightweight, featuring 3GB of RAM, a 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, DVD burner, wireless n, integrated webcam, fingerprint security, and digital card reader. That’s a lot of features in a smallish frame for $900 (available now).
Meanwhile, the Aspire 8935G is an 18.4-inch (1920×1080), 10-pound heavyweight, featuring most of the same stuff you see in the 3935, plus ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 graphics, Blu-ray burner, backlit keyboard and up to 1TB of storage. It’ll be around at an unspecified time for an unspecified price…if man can engineer a truck big enough to ship it.
