I don't know if this $50 Oreck thing can handle such horror, but it claims to extinguish day-to-day odors and break down pesticides on produce (!!). The Refrigerator Air Purifier replaces that open box of baking soda, and then some. It eliminates food odors, sterilizes your fridge once every hour, reduces food spoilage, and decomposes agri-chemicals too. No idea how it does this crazy voodoo, and all just on 4 C batteries.
