A wise man once said, "Man, parents just don't understand." Adults sometimes need to be roused from their routines (via a few small acts of vandalism and theft) in order to regain their sense of wonder and awe. In Olivia Huynh's delightful animation, a hooded protagonist does what it takes to make people appreciate the night sky again.
DISCUSSION
If you hadn't explained that, I wouldn't have got it. I live in a light-polluted area. During the Big Blackout several years ago, I was able to see the Milky Way, satellites whizzing around and the ISS. If it wasn't the ISS it was something big that looked like a tiny bow tie. I talked to a bunch of people the next day and not one of them had looked up at the previous night's sky. Unfortunately, vandalism and theft are almost never motivated by such noble intentions.
