There's a Galaxy of Flavors Hiding In These Planetary Lollipops

Astronomers from the Max Plank Institute discovered that the center of our galaxy probably smells like rum and tastes like raspberries. But the actual planets and sun? According to this set of ten handmade lollipops, their flavors are far more exotic.

Inside each lollipop’s wrapper is an edible image of the Earth, or one of our celestial neighbors. And every last one has a different flavor. The sun tastes like marshmallows, Mercury is tropical punch, Venus is cherry, Earth is cotton candy, Mars is pear, Jupiter is key lime, Saturn is guava, Uranus is blackberry, Neptune is mango, and Pluto is a strawberry-kiwi blend.

The entire set is $30, making them much pricier than even a set of designer Tootsie Pops. But there’s no midnight snack more appropriate for the next time you’re staying up late to check out a meteor shower.
